The official confirmation to be a speaker was received 13th March 2019 from Dr Don Marshall, Director of SALISES. Charlie Spice was selected from over 2000 candidates from all over the world, who submitted papers.
The decision to select someone who been an operator in an industry considered as taboo by society to be a speaker at such a major event has not come by chance. For the past four years, Spice has been successfully conducting guest lectures on the Impact Of The Sex Industry On Tourism to the final year students of Tourism Management Studies, at the invitation of Professor Cristina Jonsson. He has also lectured to Social Studies students under the direction of Professor Joan Phillips.
In addition, Spice is also the Founder/President of Adult Industry Association (https://adultindustryassociation.org/), an international association for adult entertainment businesses, professionals, consumers and supporters worldwide. The aim of AIA is to make the adult industry a better, safer and more rewarding place for work, business and pleasure.
For years Charlie Spice has been widely regarded at an expert on issues related to the sex industry. This acceptance to be a speaker at this conference offers validation to this claim.
